Eligibility criteria for AFA and INA in NDA

First we need to look at the educational qualifications mandated to get into the Air Force Academy and the Indian Naval Academy through the NDA examination to understand the eligibility with respect to these two institutes.

For Entry into Air Force Academy (AFA): The candidates have to fulfill at least 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics.

You have not completed your 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics but you have completed it with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) along with Mathematics as an additional subject. So you do not meet the eligibility criteria of AFA.

Candidates must carry an UPSC admit card and also carry a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driver's License, or PAN Card. A recent passport-sized photograph is also required, as and when specified by the UPSC. Candidates should prepare to present all relevant papers that the candidates may need to avail themselves during the examination, along with documents relating to application confirmation page if required. Attention should be paid to strict adherence to instructions on admit cards, to avoid getting into a jam on test day.

The last date for download of the UPSC admit card usually differs with respect to every exam. Generally, for CSE and other UPSC exams, the admit cards are available for download almost 3 weeks before the date of examination. The link for downloading the admit card remains active until the day of the exam, but it's always better to download it early to avoid any last-minute troubles. The aspirants are advised to visit the official UPSC website regularly for updates and download the admit card before the day of the exam.

The SSC CGL cutoff varies for the Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams because they are at different levels of difficulty and have different objectives. Tier 1 is a screening test that is an objective-type test, generally with a lower cutoff, and it is used for shortlisting candidates for Tier 2. Tier 2 is more advanced, consisting of multiple papers, and hence has a higher cutoff. Tier 2 has a higher difficulty level, and it is essential to qualify for the final round. The total SSC CGL selection depends upon the aggregate performance in the two exams, that is, the Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 test consists of 4 sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. All these sections have 50 questions. Each question is for 2 marks. In total, the test is to be completed in 60 minutes, and the maximum score would be 200. Negative marking is applicable at every wrong answer, and for that, 0.5 marks are deducted. Unattempted questions are not deduced. The Tier 1 exam is computer-based, and the candidate should score well in all areas of the test to qualify to take the Tier 2 exam.

SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) examination center is allocated based on the preference that the candidates make while applying. While submitting the application form, the candidate has to choose his or her preferred examination center from a list of available locations. You'll be able to join the NDA with -2.75 eye power, but not the army and navy. As per the rules, Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D, including Astigmatism, and you have more than that. For the air force, also, no glasses are allowed.
