The Staff Selection Commission provides a dedicated window for sending representations against the incorrect questions/answers given in the official SSC CGL answer key. The candidates can see here the steps to challenge the SSC CGL tentative answer key.

  • Log on to the official website of SSC – ssc.gov.in
  • Click on the answer key notification link available on the Home page
  • Click on the answer key link given in the notification
  • Enter user ID and password
  • Click on Login
  • Go to the tab for raising objections
  • Follow the instructions and challenge the respective question/answer
  • Pay fee of INR 50 per question/answer in online mode

SSC JHT result is announced online separately for Phase 1 and 2. The result is announced on the official website. The roll numbers of qualified candidates are made available in PDF form. Candidates qualifying the Paper 1 are called for Paper 2 exam.

The Staff Selection Commission has changed the address of their official website. The new SSC website will be responsible for all the communications done by the Commission. The new official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to download the answer key is ssc.gov.in

Yes, the commission releases the final SSC CGL answer key once it receives all the objections against the tentative answer key. Staff Selection Commission forms a review committee to consider the objections raised by the candidates. After considering the valid objections, this committee suggest the changes required in the answer key and marks to be awarded against the correct answer of such questions.

The Commission released the SSC CGL Tier 1 Final Answer Key on January 9, 2026.

The allowances offered to SSC JHT are given below: 

  • The Dearness Allowance is 12 per cent of Basic Pay under the 7th Pay Commission
  • The transport allowances also vary with the posting center. In the cities, it would be INR 3600 + and for all other places, the TA will be not less than INR 1800+
  • Children Education Allowance of INR 27000 per annum is available for children studying class Nursery to class XII. CEA also increases with an increase in DA. A Hostel subsidy of INR 81000 per annum for children studying in the hostel is also available
  • Every year the officers will get INR 10000 as uniform allowances
  • Along with all these allowances
