SSC has decided to normalize SSC JHT scores of candidates to take into account any variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers across different shifts since the exam is conducted in multiple sessions. The normalization is done based on the fundamental assumption that in multi-shift exam, the distribution of abilities of candidates is the same across all the shifts. Calculation of marks will be done up to 5 decimal places.

SSC JHT exam comprises two papers. Paper 1 consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions and questions are asked from two sections. Candidates need to carry the SSC CHSL admit card to the allotted exam centre on the day of the exam. Along with the admit card, candidates also need to carry three passport size photos and photo ID proof. The official website informs, “Candidates are advised to keep sufficient copies of the same photograph, which was uploaded in the online application form, with them till the completion of the entire examination process to facilitate easy identification.” Documents that can be carried as a photo ID proof are:

No, the SSC CGL document verification is not done by the Commission. The document verification process is conducted by the respective department in which the candidates will be posted.
The Staff Selection Commission outsourced the SSC CGL document verification to the indented departments. This was done to expedite the process of SSC CGL recruitment process.

The Union Public Service Commission notified 167 IES vacancies in the official notification. The Commission accept the vacancy requisition till the prelims exam. The IES 2024 vacancies are expected to increase to 180.
This will be in line with the past year trends.
