For General Knowledge section of RRB NTPC you need to cover Current Events of National and International Importance, Indian Literature, History, Polity, Geography, Economics, etc. The weightage given to this section in CBT 1 is 40 and in CBT 2 is 50. For RRB NTPC General Science and General Awareness, you can refer to the Lucent General Science and Lucent GK books. In the WBCS Prelims Result 2024 (2023 session), the Commission selected 4,960 candidates for the WBCS main exam 2024 (2023 session). The West Bengal Public Service Commission passed around 10 times the number of candidates to the number of vacancies in the exam. Let us suppose that there are 300 vacancies in the WBCS exam, the West Bengal Public Service Commission will select around 3000 candidates for the main exam. For the interview stage, three times candidates of the number of vacancies are selected. For example, for 300 vacancies, the Commission will select 900 candidates. The number of candidates who pass the WBCS prelims exam will depend on the number of vacancies in the WBCS exam.

The WBCS main exam 2024 will be conducted from August 16 to 20.
