Hi there, The "Combined Defence Services" CDS Examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission UPSC for the recruitment of candidates into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. Yes you can start preparing but also take admission in Bachelor's college as the minimum educational qualification required to take on the IAS exam is graduation. You have to have a degree from a recognised university to attempt the IAS exam conducted by the UPSC every year.

No, it is not compulsory. GPSC exam for class 1 and 2is in both the mediums Gujarati and English, any graduate can appear for the exam. GPSC exams are conducted by the Gujarat Public Service Commission. GPSC conducts various recruitment examinations for Class I, II and III vacancies in the Gujarat State Administration. You can prepare in a better and systematic way if you join classes for GPSC as it includes vast course and systematic approach to proceed.
