There is a collaboration between GKU and ICAR. MNRE, MHRD has signed a MoU with UCoA, Guru Kashi University and has made GKU a major part of SARA. Hence, you can certainly apply for government jobs.

Could you mention if you are willing to join PSN College of Engineering and Technology for BE in Marine Engineering?
Or are you looking forward to get into naval architecture and shipbuilding ?
As per the information available, the college doesn't provide naval architecture and shipbuilding as a separate course.

Hi Harish, I would recommend that you should go for Arihant Publications. The question paper pattern is very nicely followed in the book, moreover, you get solved questions, miscellaneous questions and a set of question papers too. The important GK part from the point of view of the examination is also discussed in brief which doesn't lead to boredom. But for the current affairs part, you need some external help. You just need to follow the news regularly, followings a news channel is enough. Hello dear, Eligibility: Diploma in electrical from the approved technical board from AICTE. Age-18 to 28 years. Syllabus-1). There will be a computer-based test (CBT). Of objective type-multiple choice questions only. The syllabus of the examinations will be commensurate to essential qualification required for the
post. The medium for examination will be Hindi or English. The tier-1 examination is for screening only. The tier-2 examination is for provisional. Selection. Marks will be normalized in Tier-1 & Tier-2 examination as per the best practices. Best of luck.

Not at all. The gap shouldn't make much difference. Though you may have to provide a affidavit stating your reason to do so if they asked for it. Rest assured, you will not be disqualified or asked to produce any extra document.

BA would be very helpful in IAS preparations. As most of its syllabus is the base syllabus for Civil Services. You can pursue BA+LLB to build a better foundation of the subjects. B.A. In History would also be very beneficial. To prepare from home, you need to have proper study material and resources. Gather good books and Sample papers. Also read atleast 2 or 3 newspapers daily. It will improve your GS over the time.

If you are opting for NCC, then it would be beneficial for you as there is 15% quota and preference is given to the NCC candidates.

If you have a graduation degree then you can apply online. Although girl candidates can only apply for OTA, the paper will be same for every candidate.
