NDA Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year. You should be class 12th pass or appearing and less than 19 years of age. The syllabus of NDA is same as 12th Science and Maths. Also, you would need to make your English and GS strong. After you qualify the written exam, you will be called for SSB interview which is a 5-day interview that tests your personality and aptitude. If you qualify that too, you will give the medical and physical test. After that, you will be admitted to NDA.

You can fill forms for Railway, Army, Navy, Air Force, Junior Engineers in several departments, DRDO, etc. There are many vacancies for Diploma holders released by the Indian Government.

Apply for GATE and get a good score. PSUs recruit on the basis of GATE score.

You can either take part in recruitment rallies or attempt NDA or CDSE. Paratroopers are selected from the regular soldiers already serving in the army based on their performance.

Pursue a Bachelors degree through distance or regular and prepare for government jobs along with the studies. That would be more efficient then doing just one.
