Dear Anita,
Kindly follow the below preparation tips :
Understand your Goal - Please go through the tentative dates of the exam and syllabus and define your weekly schedule to cover each topic.
Build your study schedule week wise alongside the schedule of your curriculum.
Take your notes, Jot important points to remember.
Analyze your self test results carefully.
Grammar books will be very much helpful to you to perform well in English section.
General ability section is very vast, one should allocate more time in that.
Newspapers and Magazines are good source to perform well in General knowledge section.

Dear Harish,
There is no such particular stream which is considered to be the most appropriate stream for civil service exam. As you can see in the last year results, the maximum number of candidates selected for IAS were holding professional courses but that doesn't means that you have to pursue a professional course to succeed in civil service exam. You just need to be focused and have to prepare separately for the civil service exam, no matter which stream you belong to.

Hello Abhishek,
There are many modes through which you can join ISRO as Scientist or Engineer. After 12th or during 12th, you can appear for IIST exam (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Trivandrum ). To know details of this exam pl see the IIST web site www.iist.ac.in. IIST graduates above a certain pass percentage cut off in final B Tech exam are directly absorbed in ISRO system as Scientist/Engineer -SC grade.
One can also join ISRO after finishing B Tech from university system. For this they have to appear for ISRO centralised recruitment. The advertisement for this is often published in national newspapers.
