Since there are only female dorms on campus the majority of the mess expenses at Government Engineering College, Barton Hill (GECBH) Thiruvananthapuram, are covered by the hostel fees. Although it may vary slightly each year the charge is roughly INR 1,500 each month, or INR 18,000 annually. The dormitory, which houses 216 students enrolled in B.Tech and M.Tech degrees, provides Wi-Fi, roomy accommodations, and traditional Keralan food. There may be additional expenses, such as caution deposits. Male students are required to find off-campus housing within a one-kilometer radius, which costs an average of INR 5,000 per month.
