The CGPA at GIET University is determined by dividing the total number of credits points a student has earned across all of their courses for the whole programme by the total number of credits. Additionally, the university has a CGPA calculator on its official college website to assist students in determining their final CGPA.

To be completely honest, the mess food quality at GIET University has decreased a bit over the years. As per the seniors, the food quality used to be so much better but as more students kept getting enrolled in the university, the more the food quality went down. Of course, we have a bias towards home food and outside food in general but I must say that the food quality is not very great at the university.

# Explore the sports side of the university as much as possible and the faster you join a club, the better. # Always keep your attendance percentage over 90% as 80% is their least requirement. # Don't miss the morning breakfast. (It really upsets your stomach! Trust me I have been there. )
# Buy yourself a laptop. You will need it. # Take care of your hygiene. Make it a first priority. # Schedule your classes and try not to miss any. # Make good connections with your class teacher and proctor even after they are no longer your class teacher/proctor.
