No, to get admissions in MSc course the candiate have to be graduate with minimum 50% to 60% aggregate. However, for MSc Biotechnology, the candiates need to secure 45% aggregate at GIET Gunupur University.

No, GIET university does not conduct any entrance exam for MSc course. The student will get admission in MSc course on basis of merit based. However, the candiate need to be graduate with 50% aggregate. Furthermore, for MSc in biotechnology, the student need to pass in BSc Biotechnology / BSc with Biochemistry / Microbiology / Botany / Zoology /Physics /Chemistry/ Environmental Sciences/ Agriculture / BVSc /BTech Biotechnology/BPharma /BAMS/BHMS/BPT and any other related discipline with not less than 45 % aggregate.

The university has recorded a 97% hiring rate during GIET Gunupur placements 2023. Furthermore, a total of 1,043 offers were made during placements 2023. However, as per the NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to BTech and MTech students was INR 4.71 LPA and INR 5.10 LPA during the placements 2022, respectively.
