No, Rupa. You can't get admission in MPH as the eligibility is minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Bachelor's degree.

The eligibility criteria may vary from institute to institute. You would be eligible to apply with 58% marks in some college but you need to justify the gap in the education.

You will get a better answer to this once you enroll for the course and get to know the syllabus. At this stage no one would be able to tell about the same.
The only option you have is to visit the institute and have a word with admission counselors or the course faculty.

Yes Ashish,
You are eligible to do M.Sc. in food and nutrition, as the only requirement is that the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in Home Science, Biology, Microbiology, Clinical Biochemistry, Life Sciences, BNYS (Naturopathy), B.A. M. S. (Ayurveda) or PG Diploma in Dietetics with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Hi,
Yes, you are eligible and it is indeed a good choice. More than food technology, try for food biotechnology in PG.
Food biotechnology will channelise your interest for research.
There are many central universities offering such courses, Tezpur University is one of them.
