HIT or Heritage Institute of Technology comes under a few of the best engineering colleges in West Bengal, which is Autonomous and is affiliated to WBUT (West Bengal University of Calcutta). The college celebrates its 16 years this 2017. It covers almost 70 acres with the foundation of Kalyan Bharti Trust. It encompasses The Heritage College, The Heritage School and The Heritage Academy.
The Institute has accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Undergraduate B.Tech courses are offered with 9 branches and a full-time two year M.Tech with 5 branches. The institution admits students through WBJEE and JEE-Mains in B.tech and through GATE in M.Tech.
