Hello Gupta,
Well, CUSAT is a government college so it has a bit of edge over Heritage's private ownership, however, if you got the main campus of CUSAT then only its worth taking, otherwise, HIT-Kolkata is a better option.

Heritage Institute of Technology, being of the best engineering colleges (though Private) in West Bengal is better than Thomas Khidirpur. Mechanical Department in Heritage has a couple of highly qualified and experienced faculties who are willing to guide you with every possible way in every possible manner.
