Hi,
If you have problem in attending the exams in English, better try to attend the exams in Hindi (if they have Hindi medium option available). What you have to focus is your content.

Just go through and adhere to the syllabus, which can be found at http://jmi.ac.in/studyatjamia/Syllabi/entrancetest.
And, Refer books of Arihant etc. for preparation.

No, you are not forced to know Hindi. You can speak in English, as it is most preferred instead of your mother tongue, because when the translator translates, the meaning is not conveyed in proper way as you said.
