1. Arun Sharma published by Tata McGraw Hill.
2. The Arun Sharma Complete CAT Digest by Tata McGraw Hill.
3. Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Examinations by Abhijit Guha.
4. Quantitative Aptitude for CAT and other MBA Exams by Trishna Knowledge Systems(Pearson) has many practice exercises in increasing difficulty for a gradual transition.
For verbal reasoning and reading comprehension:
1. How to prepare for Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension by Arun Sharma and Meenakshi Upadhyay (Tata McGraw Hill).
2. Word Power Made easy by

Hello, I'd like to tell you that the minimum percentage required for this course swings between 95% and 97%. You need to acquire this much percentage by calculating your best of four subjects that need to have English, the subject in which you want to take admission ( in this case pol sci.) and two other subjects in which you've scored the most. It's a pretty simple admission procedure. The admission form will be available online only in May before your board result has been announced. Best of luck!

Also, 76% is a low percentile but the ultimate convert depends on the SI score which takes into consideration a lot of other parameters as well.
Try to score more than 90 percentile to get the interview call.

I would suggest you to go to Hindu College for humanities courses whether it's political science or any other course. Being a north campus college, Hindu offers a student everything that he/she requires to excel in one's field. The faculty consists of some of the best professors who have completed their studies from abroad so you can expect a top class study atmosphere in Hindu College. Apart from political science, it also offers humanities courses like English (Hons.), Phil.
