The best college in Delhi University.
Placements: So basically, in botany hons, mostly students are approached by edutech companies like Vedantu, Pw. Multinational companies usually don't approach botany honors students due to obvious reasons. So, being very honest, this course is for those who want to pursue their career in the education field.
Infrastructure: Laboratories and classrooms are 10/10, fully air-conditioned classes with smart classes. The cleanliness is very good. About the infrastructure of Hindu College, it is 10/10. The campus is very beautiful and clean, the hostels are very neat and clean, and proper hygiene is maintained in the washrooms.
Faculty: The top faculty are hired at the Hindu College. Teachers are mostly very intellectual and very intelligent, having mostly graduated from top universities and colleges. Per year 2 semester exams are being held, and the level of exams is moderate, and 33 percent of marks is required to pass.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in botany, and regarding the improvement, the placement facilities in this course can be improved. And regarding the fest, Hindu College organizes the largest fest of DU MECCA.

Great facilities but a little high priced for a government college but definitely worth it.
Placements: I am a Social Science student and students from social sciences do not have a lot of placement opportunities. Even if they do its only in marketing or hr roles. My department has not specifically reached out for placements. Its only the college placement cell that you apply to for placements. Most of the humanities students rely on internships government exams and higher studies.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is top notch. The library is very aesthetic and is facilitated with many floors. It has many academic books Wi-Fi and computer center as well. Getting into the girls hostel is difficult due to fewer seats but the facilities are great with 4 times meals AC laundary and all the necessary services.
Faculty: The faculty is really qualified and gives their best. The curriculum is difficult and completely academic though. Exams are not extremely difficult but you need to put in the work. The continuous assessment and minimum 67 percent attendance part is a little irritating but you get through somehow.

Dedicated faculty great infrastructure average food in the mess crazy crowd on campus.
Placements: The placement in my college depends on the course actually Generally students pursuing B.Com (Hons), etc get placed. Students from a Science background generally go for a Masters. The Average package of students getting placed is 8 LPA in my college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good with facilities like Wi-Fi Canteen and labs available. The canteen and open cafeteria offer decent food with affordable pricing. In hostel the infrastructure is nice but the mess food is very average. Students staying in the hostel are not really satisfied with the price we are paying for the food available.
Faculty: Faculty of my college and especially in my department is really impressive they are experienced and dedicated towards their work. Exams are not that tough you can manage scoring well along with preparing for other exams in your final year. Its manageable even if you are part of some college societies/clubs.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in pursuing Chemistry. The best things about my college are the practical knowledge in labs that helps to clear my concept further.

Hindu College Things to know before getting into Hindu.
Placements: The placements offered are from top companies including DE Shaw EY ZS Associate Uniqlo United Airlines and many more. Roles offered have a very diverse range it including Consulting role Data and market analyst, Sales and marketing Strategy analyst in Finance too. The internship cell is also very active in the college. A large percentage of students get their placements.
Infrastructure: There is only a girls hostel the boys hostel is under construction and would be ready in the next one or two years. The infrastructure of classes is not up to the mark. You will get ACs in Commerce department. There is Wi-Fi provided on the campus. The canteen is at quite affordable and of decent quality.
Faculty: Teachers for commerce subjects are very qualified and at the same time very helpful and approachable. Other than core subjects there are subjects like AEC VAC and SEC which would have numerous options from various departments that you can choose from. Its a great option to explore your interests or learn something related/unrelated to your curriculum. The semester exams are not very tough and can be passed easily. The attendance criteria should be taken into consideration or you might get detained.

A vibrant campus with great infrastructure.
Placements: I am from the 2027 batch of B.A. Hons Political Science at Hindu College University of Delhi. The placements for our course are not that great since most of the students usually prepare for UPSC or rather go for higher studies. Still, there are placement societies in our college and people do get internships and research opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our classes are held in the New Academic Block building of Hindu College and so the infrastructure is decent and well maintained having all above mentioned facilities. The hostel is great in terms of all the facilities food quality and sports though getting a seat is tough and the fees are a bit higher.
Faculty: The faculty for Political Science is knowledgeable and most importantly approachable. The curriculum is quite theoretical and focuses more on academic understanding than practical application. Rest exams are manageable if you keep up with reading PYQs and notes.
Other: I chose Political Science as I have always been interested in understanding how society and governance work and eventually the best part about the course becomes the open discussions and diversity we get from our classmates and professors. Apart from merely keeping it book centric I do wish there were more practical components like internships and workshops. Hindu College has a vibrant and amazing campus vibe with active societies and great fests and such a lively crowd. The location is well connected with other college campuses and the surroundings are safe. Scholarships and ECA opportunities are good too.

The college is overall manageable with the curriculum that I selected.
Placements: In Hindu College, University of Delhi, from the B.Com Honours, around 80% of the students get placed. The highest package is 23 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average is 9 LPA. Top recruiters include Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and PwC. Many students also get placements in this course in their second and third years.
Infrastructure: Show in the computer lab or in the library. There is no Wi-Fi facility. In classrooms in our department, there is AC. And there's a problem with Wi-Fi in college. Talking about the hostel, the mess food is manageable. And good sports and games are rare. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The course subject teachers are very knowledgeable and qualified. They are also quite lawful and helpful. It has also included sec, vac, and ge in our curriculum. Which helps us on average. The teachers put a lot of burden.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue B.Com Honours with Accountancy and get placed in Big 4 firms such as Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and McKinsey.
