If your interest lies in History, I would suggest pursuing your passion and doing BA (Hons.) in History. But, I believe perhaps the lack of career choices in this field in India may make you hesitate. You can also opt for BA Programme in which you can chose two subjects, perhaps history with another social Science subject, say Geography, Political Science or sociology. Hi Sanchaita,
Economics and history are completely academic subjects, while film making and direction is altogether a creative field. To make a career in film making is a challenging task but highly rewarding. Since the fields asked in comparison are completely different in nature, it is your call to decide whether you want to make your career in academics or a creative field like film making.
