Hindustan University offers the B.A. Political Science program to those candidates who have pass the higher secondary exam from a recognized board. This program does not have any particular cutoff for enrollment, although, and everyone is welcome if they meet the admission standards. But in order to obtain the most relevant and updated data it is always wiser to visit the official site of the university or simply call the university's admission office.

Candidates seeking admission to the BTech programmes of HITS must have the required educational qualifications. The aspirants who are Class 12 pass with at least 50% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects can apply. Additionally, the minimum aggregate for reserved categories is 45% aggregate. Moreover, to get in the BTech (Lateral Entry) courses, aspirants must have a Diploma with at least 50% aggregate in Engineering/Technology. In addition, the graduates with at least 50% aggregate in Science and Mathematics as one of the main subject can also apply for lateral course. Candidates must hold the relevant documents

Yes, National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) has ranked Hindustan University in the "Engineering" category. In 2024, it is ranked #113. Additionally, in 2023, it was ranked #101-150 and #151-200 in 2022. The university is also the 9th best among the NIRF ranked colleges in Chennai in 2024. Apart from this, it is also ranked by other ranking bodies, such as Times and India Today.

No, the candidates are not allowed to carry electronic gadgets to the HITSCAT exam centre. Candidates carrying such devices can be disqualified and not allowed to sit for the examination. Thus, the candidates appearing for the HITSCAT MBA exam should avoid carrying electronic devices. The complete guidelines shall also be mentioned in the admit card of the entrance exam.

HITS Chennai offer various scholarship schemes. There are fee concessions and scholarship amount. However, to avail a scholarship, candidates must meet the respective criteria. There is a sports scholarship, which is availble for students with an impressive sports record. Additionally, Dr Elizabeth Verghese Founder Scholarship is offered to meritorious girl students from weaker financial backgrounds to puruse higher education.

HITS Chennai is ranked by various bodies for its MBA course. In the NIRF 2024 rankings, it has secured a place in #101-125 band under the Management category. Apart from this, it is ranked #44 by Times and #105 by Business Today. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science was also the fourth best among NIRF ranked colleges in Chennai in 2023.

HITS Chennai has a seat intake of 60 for its MBA in Aviation Management course. Candidate are admitted as per sanctioned seat count and scores in HITSCAT. Moreover, the institute may also follow the reservation policy of the state or central government. The seat intake mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. There are over 300 seats for the MBA programmes at the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. The seat allotment process is carried out on the basis of candidates HITSCAT score. Some other factors are sanctioned seat intake and reservation policy. Hindustan University shall reserve the right to revise the seat count in an admission year. Also, the seat intake can vary from one course specialisation to another. HITS has maximum seats for MBA in Finance, Marketing, and HR course.
