Yes, HITS admissions 2025-26 are currently open for BTech and Integrated BTech+MTech courses. Students can visit the official website to learn more and apply online. HITS is a deemed-to-be University and is recognised by the UGC.

Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science is a private university, and the institute was established in 1985. It is located in Kelambakkan and was conferred the status of a university under the name HITS. This is a deemed-to-be- University is also accreditted A by NAAC. The institute is recognised by UGC and approved by AICTE.

Hindustan University offers the B.A. Political Science program to those candidates who have pass the higher secondary exam from a recognized board. This program does not have any particular cutoff for enrollment, although, and everyone is welcome if they meet the admission standards. But in order to obtain the most relevant and updated data it is always wiser to visit the official site of the university or simply call the university's admission office.

Candidates seeking admission to the BTech programmes of HITS must have the required educational qualifications. The aspirants who are Class 12 pass with at least 50% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects can apply. Additionally, the minimum aggregate for reserved categories is 45% aggregate. Moreover, to get in the BTech (Lateral Entry) courses, aspirants must have a Diploma with at least 50% aggregate in Engineering/Technology. No, the candidates are not allowed to carry electronic gadgets to the HITSCAT exam centre. Candidates carrying such devices can be disqualified and not allowed to sit for the examination. Thus, the candidates appearing for the HITSCAT MBA exam should avoid carrying electronic devices. The complete guidelines shall also be mentioned in the admit card of the entrance exam.
