Hindustan University admissions 2026 are open for UG and PG courses. Other latest updates are as follows:
- The CLAT 2026 4th merit list is out for admission to the PG-level LLM programme. Students must pay the confirmation fee by May 8, 2026, to either Float or Freeze their allotted seats.
- The TNEA 2026 counselling registrations have started for admission to the BE/ BTech courses. According to the tentative schedule, the last date to register is Jun 2, 2026.
- The CUET UG 2026 registration portal is now closed for admission to several UG courses. The CUET exam 2026 will be conducted from May 11 to May 31, 2026.
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The CUET PG 2025 result has been released for admission to PG courses. Candidates who appeared in the exam can view and download their scorecards by using their login details on the official website.
- The TANCET 2026 registration window is closed for admission to the MBA course. The TANCET exam 2026 will be conducted on May 9, 2026.
- The CLAT 2026 fourth merit list for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) courses is now released. Students must pay the confirmation fee by May 14, 2026, to either float or freeze their allotted seats.

The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, also known as HITS or HITAS, is a private deemed-to-be-University and was founded in 1985 by K.C.G. Verghese. Located in Chennai the university is a member of the Hindustan Group of Institutions and has several sister institutes across Chennai and beyond such as the Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology and other colleges. HITS admission to all the courses is mainly based on the university’s in-house entrance exam, i.e., HITSEEE & HITSCAT. Hindustan University conducts HITSEEE to provide admission to BTech courses.
