MBA in tourism and hospitality management is a full time regular course with 2 years of duration and is further divided into 2 or 4 semesters. This course introduces the candidates to the specific proficiency required in the tourism and Hospitality business. The course is divided into theory and assignments. First year includes subjects of all general streams and in the last year the students are taught about specialized subjects. Eligibility criteria for the course is:-

Choosing to study at the ISH (Indian School of Hospitality) provides you with an international standard of hospitality education from a faculty of industry experts as well as some of the worlds most renowned names in the field. IHM Pusa is good but not as good as Oberoi. In hotel management, internship is pivotal. Because it gives the real time environment to the students who will work here (in hotel and allied industry) after few years/months. So, what makes Oberoi STEP better than IHM (Any IHM)? Systematic Training and Education programme is a job on training. You are working full time 5 days a week and studying 1 or 2 days a week for your Distance Bachelors (Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies). They focus more on training than on theory and it shapes the student into working professionals in few months.
In any IHM, you get theory and some practical classes 5 days a week and industrial training of 34 weeks. Step trainees are trained at one of the hotel of Oberoi group (Oberoi/Trident) for the three consecutive years and yes, it makes the difference. The Oberoi is eminent in the hotel industry and when a student is trained for 3 years in such an international hotel group then it makes the consideration for any of the Hotel owner or the HR Manager of the hotel group in terms of employability.
