IHM Guwahati Highlights 2025
Institute of Hotel Management, Catering technology and applied nutrition was founded in 1984 in Guwahati. It offers various UG and PG programs, e.g., M.Sc., B.Sc., Certificate etc. The IHM Guwahati has financial assistance of the Ministry of Tourism of Government of India. IHM Guwahati is affiliated with National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and the hospitality college offers degree, diploma, craftsmanship and Hunar Se Rozgar courses to students. IHM Guwahati’s BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration is offered in collaboration with IGNOU.
The library of the hospitality college is well-equipped with 10,000 books. IHM Guwahati provides students with hostel accommodation with an intake capacity of 42 students in the girl's hostel and 160 students in the boy's hostel. The hostel capacity is 374 seats.
