There are negative marking in IBPS SO exam. For wrong answers, 0.25 marks are deducted. IBPS SO prelims exam pattern for Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari comprises objective-type questions based on subjects such as English Language, Reasoning and General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry. Yes, you can apply for any bank vacancy without passing the IBPS exam. IBPS is only required for PSU Banks. All other private banks hire individually. Thus, you still have a lot of banks to apply to without the IBPS exam.
