IBPS SO 2022-23: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released IBPS SO final results on April 1, 2023. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts IBPS SO exam to recruit Specialist Officers in various public sector banks. The exam provides a great opportunity for those who want to be a part of leading public sector banks. Candidates selected through IBPS SO exam are recruited to the various posts, such as Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, IT Officer, Law Officer, and Rajbhasha Adhikari. IBPS SO Result 2023
IBPS SO result 2023 has been announced for mains exam on April 1, 2023, and the candidates are allowed to check their results till April 30, 2023. To check the result, candidates have to login with the required credentials. The scorecard has been released for the mains exam. Based on the mains result, candidates have been shortlisted for the interview.
IBPS SO Admit Card 2023
IBPS SO admit card 2023 for interview was released on February 17, 2023. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The admit card carries all the information related to the exam such exam centre details, reporting time, exam date and many more.
IBPS SO Notification 2023
IBPS SO notification PDF was released on the official website-ibps.in. IBPS SO recruitment is conducted for selected candidates for the post of Specialist Officers in different Public Sector Banks for multiple positions. IBPS SO notification comprises details such as the number of vacancies, eligibility criteria, reservation policy, important dates, how to fill the application form, exam pattern, calculation of scores for different stages, provisional allotment, etc.
IBPS SO Application Process
IBPS SO application form was released on November 1. IBPS SO application process involved online registration, uploading of scanned documents, filling out the form, and fee payment. The application fees for the exam were INR 850 for the General and OBC categories and INR 175 for PwD/SC/ST candidates.
IBPS SO Eligibility 2023
Candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility conditions in terms of nationality, age, and educational qualification to be eligible for the IBPS SO exam:
Nationality/Citizenship
Candidates who are citizens of India/subjects of Nepal/ Bhutan/Tibetan Refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, are eligible for the exam. Besides, those who are Indian by origin and migrated from Pakistan/ Burma/ Sri Lanka/ Kenya/ Uganda/ the United Republic of Tanzania/ Zambia/ Malawi/ Zaire/ Ethiopia/ Vietnam to India with the intention of permanently settling here can also appear for the exam.
IBPS SO Age Limit
The aspirants must be between 20 and 30 years as on November 1, 2022.
IBPS SO Educational Qualification

Release of Application Form
IBPS SO application form is released online on the official website. The application process comprises several steps such as registration, uploading photograph and signature, filling detailed application form, uploading handwritten declaration and left thumb impression, paying the application fee, and submitting the application form.
Issue of Admit Card
IBPS SO admit card is released online separately for prelims, mains, and interview. To download the admit cards for different stages, candidates need to enter the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password.
Appearing in the Exam
IBPS SO exam is conducted in different stages-prelims, mains and interview. To get selected for the various posts of Specialist Officers, candidates need to clear all the stages. However, the final selection is done on the basis of mains exam and interview.
Declaration of Result
IBPS SO result is declared online for different exam stages. The scorecard is released a few days after the declaration of the result. To download the result, candidates need to enter the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password.
Final Selection
The final merit list for the appointment is prepared based on the marks of the mains exam and interview. The weightage given to the online mains exam and interview is 80:20.
IBPS SO Exam Centres 2023
IBPS SO exam is conducted at multiple centres in different cities spread throughout the country. IBPS SO exam is conducted at more than 100 test cities. Candidates are required to select one city each for prelims and mains exams. The details regarding IBPS SO exam centres 2022 are mentioned on the admit card. Personal Interview
All those candidates who meet the overall and sectional cutoffs in the mains exam are called for a personal interview. The total marks allotted for the interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview are 40 per cent (35 per cent for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates).
IBPS SO Preparation Tips 2023
The first and foremost step towards IBPS SO preparation is understanding the exam pattern and syllabus. After this, candidates should prepare a proper study plan for the exam by devising equal time for each section. Candidates should dedicate atleast three to four hours to study. Candidates must solve mock tests regularly to improve their speed and accuracy.

IBPS SO cut off 2022 is released after each phase of the examination is conducted. The cut-off for the IBPS SO preliminary exam is released first followed by the cut-off for the mains exam.
