Placements are average, since it is a private university and not an NLU. You will learn the struggle of a placement in a private university. You need at least 7 good internships over a period of 10 semesters. Apply 6-7 months from before, I am sure you will make your mark.

Hi Piyush, UPES : This college is more popular for Engineering, MBA in Infrastructure and logistics. For Law its relatively new. But its picking up. Might make a name for itself in next 5 years once the 1st batch law students pass out. Overall the college is good given the following
1. UPES is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and is the first university under Public-Private Partnership.
2. UPES is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)

BML Munjal has decent faculty and placement statistics. Think in terms of what you are looking for in that institute to learn. Do not just go blindly go for any institute. Do some research, find the area which you want to specialize in, etc.
