No, this University does not have any reservation criteria. Admission to all the candidates is given based on merit.

Admission to all the courses offered by ICFAI University Meghalaya is merit-based. Below mentioned is eligibility criteria for UG and PG courses admission:
Course | Eligibility |
|---|---|
MBA | Minimum 45% aggregate in graduation |
MCA | Minimum 45% aggregate in UG (in any discipline) with Mathematics as a mandatory subject in Class 12, final year students are also eligible to apply, minimum 45% aggregate in BCA |
MA | Minimum 45% - 50% aggregate in graduation |
| MSW | Minimum 45% in graduation |
BBA | Class 12 |

Candidates seeking admission to PhD must have a master’s degree in the relevant stream with 55% aggregate from a recognised University. Reserved category students (SC, ST and differently-abled), however, need a minimum of 50% aggregate to become eligible.

No, selection to all the courses takes place on the basis of the application screening followed by an interview. However, the University prefers candidates who’ve cleared UGC-NET/ JRF for admission to MPhil and UGC-NET/ JRF/MPhil for admission to PhD programme.
