Dear Shailesh,
Check the link below to know the colleges you can get with this rank:
https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor
In case, you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of cla

Honestly speaking about your rank, I think you must concentrate on other entrance exams or their rank because this rank is not of any use. Talking about NITs or IIITs, for admission, your OBC rank needs to be less than 15000. You may take admission to other good college or you can take a drop and try again in next year for these colleges. Hope this will help you.

Go for IIIT Sri City. It is better than IIIT Kancheepuram. I am studying in IIIT Kancheepuram, and it is totally based on design concept. It is also a good college, but Sri City is better for CSE.

For mining branch, the on-campus placements are very low, it's less than 30% and even low for the batches I saw. None of my friends from Mining department got placed in the campus and many of them have pointer 8.5+. Later, they got jobs through off-campus placements, that's a different story.

Go for the branch in which you are interested. Think about the college after that. You have to learn that for 4 years. If you choose any non-interesting branch, then you can't do good. Go for interest, not for placements. Don't worry about new or old. You can apply for jobs outside also. So, choose the branch first.
Best of luck.
