Yes, especially for BBA and MBA students. There's a summer internship that's part of the curriculum, and you have to submit a report on it. It's a great way to get real-world exposure and understand how things work outside books.

Yes! I recently worked on a digital marketing campaign project with a local startup, which was part of our coursework. Live projects like these are common, especially in the second and third year. You get to apply classroom knowledge in real scenarios.

I'd say it's a healthy mix, but definitely more practical than I expected. We do a lot of case studies, presentations, group discussions, and even mock businesses. Some subjects even bring in guest speakers from the industry. So it's not just books — it's applied learning.

It's actually very collaborative. Group assignments, brainstorming in clubs, and classroom discussions are all a big part of learning here. Everyone has different strengths — some are good at design, others at presenting — so you learn a lot just by working with your batchmates.

Very happening. There's always something going on — from music jams in the café to fests and random group hangouts. Even the classrooms are quite interactive. If you're someone who enjoys a balance of studies and fun, you'll love it here.

It's normal to feel homesick at first, but trust me, you adjust quickly. The hostel crowd is really friendly, and once you start attending classes and events, it just feels like home. I made some of my the closest friends here.

I wish I knew how active the clubs and societies are! I joined them a bit late and missed out on the early bonding and activities. If you're someone who loves extracurriculars, dive in early — there's so much happening beyond academics.

Yes! IILM University Gurugram is NEP 2020-Aligned, i.e, there is flexibility in choosing multidisciplinary courses across schools with easy entry/exit options.
It must be noted that entry / exit is contingent on the credits accumulated over the years in the student's Academic Bank of Credits. Each exit point has particular credit requirements that needs to be met by the student.

They actually do get placed. I know seniors who got into KPMG and Deloitte straight from campus. The placement team trains us from second year itself — resume building, aptitude tests, mock interviews — everything is covered.
