Yes, definitely, you get admission in IIMs but first you have to get very good percentile in CAT, so that you become eligible for IIMs and complete the GD/WAT and PI rounds.
Best of luck.

Dear Aditi sharma,
New IIMs are there around 7-8, some more 2-3 are lined up. These IIMs are yet to receive top companies and top packages. Secondly, their fee structures are less than older ones. Their infrastructure may not be on par with older ones. However, IIM brand that you will be receiving. That is all about New IIMs.

Dear Vipul Raj,
IIMs provide admissions based on CAT examination every year. IITs and NITs will conduct their own entrance examination and they also consider MAT score. Therefore, you need to prepare CAT and MAT. All the best.

Both the courses is best "MBA from IIM" and M.Tech from IIT. As my opinion, M.tech from IIT is good. It gives you very bright career opportunity. But, it's depends on you.

IIT-IIM graduates have edge over other graduates in terms of better companies and higher package because such students are considered the cream of India by large corporations.

IIMs consider only graduation degree marks beside 10th and 12th marks. Your B.Tech score will be considered. Process and weightage of marks differ every year. You may look at IIMs website for details.
