MBA degree course is open to all type of graduates as its is generic course. You can chose any graduation degree of your choice to seek admission in MBA at IIM. By the way, most of the IIM graduates are Engineers.

B.Com honors would be better if you want to pursue MBA from IIM as it will give more weightage while getting admission. Also, B.Com (Honors) would be a good for career prospect as well.

There is no specific programme through you will get sure admission in IIM. Admission depends on your knowledge, aptitude, commitment and especially, academic record and CAT percentage too.

Best option is to sit for CAT and target to score higher percentile (atleast 98 percentile). As you have just completed 10th, try to score at least 80-85 percent in 12th and prepare well for CAT during graduation.

Hi,
No, IIMs consider only CAT score which is a yearly exam conducted in Nov/Dec. This year onwards IIMs have profile based calls. Minimum score required is 93-94 percentile unless your profile is exceptionally good. IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta and Lucknow are the top 4 IIMs.
Other top colleges accepting CAT score are FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, SPJIMR Mumbai, IITs (only for engineers).

You cannot get admission for MBA at IIMs based on CMAT score. Admission IIMs is only done on the basis of CAT score.

Programme fee is Rs 67,500 (Rs. 50,000 plus service tax 7,500 @15%, plus Rs.10,000 alumni fee) the fee is non-refundable, and covers tuition fees, cost of course materials, lodging and boarding and alumni fee. The fees does not include cost of travel to and from Ahmedabad and expenses incurred by participants on items like electricity charges, photocopying, computer printouts, typing, stationery or items of personal nature.

It's better to compete in exams and get admission. It will help you to get exposure of best exams and colleges. Work hard and get admission in best B-School, it's not much difficult to score in exams.
