You are interested in going for IIM colleges. I would like to tell you that for getting admission in IIM, you should give CAT exam and in this you must score more than 99 percentile then only there is a possibility for a getting call from IIM.

For IIMs, you have to clear CAT entrance exam and securing good score and improve your English and personality skills as it matters the most.

You are advised to prepare and appear for CAT so that even if you do not get admission in IIM, you may get admission in other top B-Schools which use CAT score.

IIMs give 75 percent to 65 percent preference for CAT score and 25 to 35 percent for personal attributes such as academic record, GD and PI, personal achievement and other factors please be informed. His question is about job, not about IIM selection

Yes, there are some top companies which consider a candidate who has scored at least 60 throughout his academic life. However, there might also be some companies which do not consider these academic scores (or give less weight) and give more importance to the overall performance during your MBA journey. So, you have decent chances in such companies.
