  • Stationery items such as test-based material (written/printed), papers, notes, Pencil box, pouches, geometry box, pen, scale/ruler, eraser, etc.
  • Electronic devices such as calculators, cameras, electronic pens, scanners, etc.
  • Accessories such as bags, belts, caps, goggles, wallets, etc.
  • Devices used for communication such as mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth, fitness bands, earphones, pager, etc.

Candidates who cleared their Class 12 in the Science stream are eligible to apply for the IISER Entrance Exam 2023. As per the IISER Entrance Exam pattern, there are a total of 60 objective questions that candidates need to complete in three hours duration. There are a total of 60 questions asked in the entrance exam with a total of 240 marks. The total time duration of the IISER Aptitude Test is 180 minutes as per the IISER exam pattern 2025. The IISER 2025 exam pattern is divided into four sections Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics with equal weightage.

Candidates are able to fill out the IISER Entrance Exam 2025 application form from March 10, 2025 onwards. The application process is completely online, and candidates need to register themselves first on the IAT 2025 official website.

IISER will conduct the IISER Entrance Exam 2025 for the academic session 2025-2026 on May 25, 2025. Candidates who wish to get enrol in the 5 year BS-MS dual degree and 4 year BS degree programmes offered by IISERs, IIT Madras and IISc Banglore institutes need to fill out the IAT 2025 registration form.

IISER Pune cutoff 2024 has been released across BS and BS-MS specialisations. The last-round seat allotment for IISER Pune conclued at 1023 for all BS-MS Specialisations under the General AI category. Comparing to IISER Pune cutoff 2022, the cutoff has been improved with an increase in the ranks in 2024.

Further, IISER Pune SC AI category cutoff 2024 has been concluded at 340 for all BS-MS specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to IISER Pune can check out the cutoffs given below:

Since the exam officials are yet to announce the IISER 2025 counselling dates and details. However based on the previous year trends, there will be six rounds of IAT 2025 seat allotment process. 

Following the previous years trend, IISER has the tendency of releasing multiple round of IAT  seat allotment/ closing rank list, depending upon the availability of the seat in the IISER insitutes.

In the event that there is fewer number of seats available under a particular category in an academic programme than the number of
candidates with the same category-wise rank seeking admission to the B.S. (Medical Sciences and Engineering) program, then all those candidates will be offered seats by creating requisite number of supernumerary seats.

Candidates who are applying for the IISER 2024 counselling process need to remember the following points before applying:

Note -1:

a) To be considered for counselling, filling up the IISER Preference Form is mandatory.
b) Please upload your Class XII marksheet or Class XII improvement marksheet and Caste certificate (in the Applicant Details section) if applicable and if you have not uploaded the same while filling up the Application Form.
