Admissions to IIT Kharagpur depend on your performance in the JEE Advanced exam. IIT Kharagpur releases category wise cutoff ranks after every round of counselling. These ranks generally indicate the last rank that secured admission for a particular category in that specific round. The cutoff ranks for IIT Kharagpur admissions are no longer relevant for 2023 as admissions happen annually.

IIT Kharagpur BTech fees is between INR 8 Lacs and INR 10 lakh. However, this fee is been sourced from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. For the exact fee, students can reach out to the admission office. Other than this, students are required to pay the JEE Main application fee which is INR 625 (for boys) and INR 325 (for girls). The flagship courses at IIT Kharagpur are BSc, MSc and BTech. BTech's Manufacturing Science and Engineering is the best branch. Other specialisations in which BTech is provided are Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural and Food Engineering, Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and others.For placements and packages its computer Science engineering aka CSE. IITKGP is best known for its E&E and ECE courses among iits. IIT Kharagpur BTech cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering is 279 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology.
