Hi,
IMU doesn't accept MAT score. It only accepts IMUCET and dates for the same has already been passed. You can try for other colleges.

It has a scope only in Naval service, Merchant Navy. You will be limited to Naval field.

The minimum eligibility to apply for B.Sc in Nautical Science in Indian Maritime University, Chennai-Mumbai, T.S.Chanakya campus requires candidates to have a pass mark of 60% with mandatory subjects as Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Admission is done through counselling based on the rank obtained in Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET).

Evening/distance/online engineering courses are not valid any more as per the latest Supreme Court verdict. Hence, I would recommend you to join regular B.Tech course for better career prospects.

Hi Yash!
As a minimum criterion of eligibility, the course requires the candidate to have attained the 10+2 qualification in the science stream with Physics, Math and Chemistry as main subjects, and a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Opting for commerce will not help you fulfill the eligibility criteria for B.Sc. in Nautical Science.

Admission Process
Register and Apply: Interested candidates can apply online/ offline with required information
Merit Screening: Admission is based on marks obtained in graduation

Minimum Eligibility to Apply
Graduation: 50%
Entrance exam: IMUCET--
Other eligibility criteria
Candidate must have completed bachelors degree in any discipline with aggregate marks from recognized universities and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/ 12th/ UG degree.
Also, physical appearance is not a criteria to get admission in any college. So don't bother yourself.
