No, you cannot opt for a BSc degree if you have completed your Class 12 in the Commerce stream. Only the students who have completed their Class 12 in the Science stream with the PCM/B subjects are eligible to pursue a BSc Agriculture degree.

Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) in Tura-Khanapara is another good alternative in Meghalaya, offering courses like MBA, BBA, etc. But whether or not it is the "best" depends on whom you ask. The other university; North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) is also popular in the region.
