Candidates who are desirous to join the Undergraduate and Dual Degree Programmes offered by IIST are required to apply separately to IIST through the online application portal of IIST and follow the steps. The JEE Advanced is only the criteria for getting admission here. The minimum eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced are given below. Astrophysics is really a specialized branch of physics and the knowledge of certain areas of physics is a must. Done your graduation in engineering in a civil branch which is not actually related to physics or definitely astrophysics. Hello Suraj, yes fundamentally speaking students with M.Sc. Qualification haben allowed to appear for GATE which is the gateway examination for admission into post graduation in engineering. This examination in the year 2021 is going to be conducted by IIT Mumbai. But it seems that you are a bit late as the date for registration is already over. Astronomy and Astrophysics (Andhra Pradesh) at IISc Bangalore is a research programme Ph.D. and M.Tech Research) runs in a collaboration with IIA: ISRO and RRI. The basic eligibility criteria is given below. Educational qualifications: M.Sc. Or equivalent degree in Physical Sciences/ Mathematical Sciences/ Chemical Sciences or BE / B Tech or equivalent degree in any discipline or Graduates of 4-year Bachelor of Science programmes. So from above B.Tech CSE students are eligible for the asked programme with a valid GATE score.
