If you are not getting specialization of your interest then it's not a good decision to go for MBA. You must go for a branch in which you have interest. Just doing MBA for the sake of getting a Master's degree is not a good idea. So, you should join an institute where you are getting the branch of your interest.

HR is good in IISWBM but the package is a bit low like 5 LPA or 5.5 LPA. Faculties are excellent.
The curriculum of MBA (HR) is too good.

GD: Case Study
WAT: In relation with the GD Topic.
PI: Normal HR Questions, Domain Questions (Relating to your Bachelors), GK Questions, Current Affairs, etc.
PI is a bit difficult.

Firstly, IISWBM is a public B-school and not a private B-school.
There is no management quota in IISWBM and after all, it is one of the Tier 1 B-school in Kolkata and consistently ranked in top B-school rankings.

University of Calcutta is very strict in marking scheme. Getting 70%+ is a bit difficult in University of Calcutta.
However, if a student studies properly then getting 60% will not be a big problem.

The conversion depends on your CAT %ile, work experience, GD PI WAT performances, academics, extra-curricular activities, etc.
A CAT score of 80%ile with decent GD PI WAT can help you to convert.
