At GIBS Bangalore, the MAT cutoff isn't extremely high, which makes it easier for many students to get admission. Generally, candidates with a MAT score of around 600 or above have a good chance, though the college also considers your overall profile, including academics and interview performance.

Since GIBS is one of the top business schools accepting CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT etc. having a decent MAT score gives you a fair shot at admission.

Overall, GIBS is a good option among the best PGDM colleges in Bangalore, offering practical learning, exposure, and strong placements even if your MAT score is moderate.

Yes, at GIBS Business School MAT scores are considered for scholarship eligibility.

If you score well in MAT, you can get a scholarship benefit. The better your MAT score, the higher the scholarship amount you may receive. GIBS encourages students who perform well in entrance exams by giving financial support.

So if you have a good MAT score, it can definitely help you reduce your fees through a scholarship.

There is no passing marks in MAT. Anybody with above 0 score is eligible for admission. However, colleges select candidates on the basis of MAT cut offs. No MAT score accepting college has less than 60 percentile as cut off.

If you are targeting any of the top tier MBA colleges, then it is required to have a score of 600 score in MAT, which will convert into 90 percentile and above.

Yeah, you can definitely get a scholarship based on MAT score for PGDM at GIBS. In fact, in my batch quite a few students came in through MAT and got some level of scholarship depending on their percentile and overall profile. It's not like only CAT matters — MAT is also considered seriously along with academics, personal interview, and sometimes extracurricular stuff.

What I liked is GIBS doesn't make it feel out of reach. If your MAT score is decent and you perform well during the admission process, there's a genuine chance. So yeah, as a student I'd say it's totally possible and worth trying instead of assuming it's only for top ra
