IIT BHU cut off rank in JoSAA Round 6 for BTech in Computer Science Engineering stood at 1079 which lies in the mentioned range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT BHU, Varanasi - Indian Institute of Technology.

IIT BHU cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech in Computer Science Engineering other than General category are mentioned below:
- 359 for OBC
- 284 for SC
- 107 for ST
- 138 for EWS
- 57 for PWD
While the admissions are based on the scores/ rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank for BTech in Computer Science Engineering at IIT BHU Varanasi depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 1010 and closing rank was 1079. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. IIT BHU admission 2023 to BTech course is based on JEE Advanced scores followed by JoSAA Counselling 2023. Candidates seeking admission to IIT BHU must have a valid JEE Advanced scores for further processing of admission.

IIT JAM Round 4 was released on July 7 for IIT BHU MSc admission. As per the last round JAM cutoff for the General category students, the closing rank for IIT BHU ranges between 452 and 453. So, candidates securing a rank between 1 to 500 can easily get IIT BHU for MSc admission. Refer to the table given below to check out the latest year cutoff trends along with previous year cutoffs:

IIT Varanasi offers admission to the BTech course on the basis of JEE Advanced scores, followed by JoSAA counselling. JEE Advanced Round 1 cutoff 2023 was released on June 30. As per the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank was 1010 for Electronics BHU BTech CSE course for the General category students.
For 2022 and 2021, the Round 1 closing ranks were 858 and 836, respectively for IIT Varanasi CSE course. Candidates can refer to the table given below to check out the Round 1 closing ranks for a few more BTech specialisations:
