IIT BHU in the holy city KASHI.
Placements: 100% top recruiting companies include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Tata Motors, Mahindra, TCS, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, etc. The highest package is 90 Lacs, the lowest is 12 Lacs, with an average of 20 Lacs per annum. Most of the students get internships for their required fields and roles. SDE roles, consulting, finance, research, and various other roles at startups are offered here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is awesome; all facilities provided here are very good. Good Wi-Fi connections are provided, proper library facilities, with an ample number of books and journals available. Reading rooms with huge capacity are provided. Labs are highly equipped with machinery, technology, and proper assistance. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and smart class facilities. Classrooms are air-conditioned and properly ventilated. Hostels are good, properly ventilated, equipped with proper Wi-Fi connections, proper washrooms, and common rooms for indoor games. Every hostel is equipped with canteen facilities. There is a Satwik canteen for Jains and people who don't use onion and garlic in their food. Medical facilities are very good here; we are provided with medical insurance and free treatment at Sunderlal Hospital, IMS BHU. The college has a very good sports culture; sports are highly appreciated and participated in. Grounds are equipped with proper game equipment with trainers and coaches. Gym facilities are also provided. Girls have a separate gym in their hostel to avoid overcrowding at the common gym.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable with research work in their respective fields. Their teaching quality is good. Regular classes are scheduled. Professors are always ready to help students. I found the course curriculum relatively good, and surely it makes the student ready for the industry they are preparing for or wishing to join. Semester exams are not very difficult; they are moderately difficult and are easy to pass, and even easy to score decent grades. The grading system is relative to the class performance; the pass percentage depends upon the total class performance but there is a very less chance of getting failed.
Other: I joined this course because of my love towards automobiles; mechanical engineers are the ones that are hired at companies manufacturing cars, developing new models, designing things. The best thing about my course is that you get to know about those fascinating things like 3d printers live to SEE here; you get a chance to operate on that. Things I would suggest improving about my course are to make it more practical, improving lab facilities. Events and fests are held at a regular basis; our cultural fest KASHIYATRA and our technical fest TECHNEX are considered as the largest cultural and technical fest of North India respectively. SPARDHA, our sports fest, is properly organized. Students from other colleges participate in various events held during these fests. Clubs and various social groups are managed by students which provide a proper environment for developing social and professional skills in a person.

Honest Review Of IIT BHU .
Placements: The thing for which the college is famous after the spirituality of Varanasi is, of course, its placements. Students in the third year go for internships, and the placement season begins in the 7th semester for B.Tech students and the 9th semester for IDD students. The package offered this year was 1.68 LPA, the highest, and a total of 100+ companies visited the campus for both core and non-core jobs. The average package of the college stood somewhere around 23-24 LPA. Above 80% of the students got placed, which is a big positive in this hard recession.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not too good; you may not like it because it is an old IIT. Aryabhatta hostel is allotted in the first year, which is not too good, with triple sharing rooms where you only get two almirahs and two table-chair sets for three persons. But the construction of new hostels is going on. You get Wi-Fi facility in the hostel, classes, labs, everywhere.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified; they have earned their Master's and PhDs from renowned foreign universities. Exams here are not too difficult; they are easy. Academics are chill here; you get a lot of time for other activities. If you study well before exams, you can pass them.
Other: I chose this course because it was the only option available to me and had better placements than other options. It is an open campus located at the centre of the city, therefore it is very crowded.

IIT BHU is one of the excellent colleges, as you know that it is one of the oldest colleges.
Placements: Approximately 60 percent of students are placed there every year. The highest placement is INR 80 LPA. The average placement is INR 21 LPA. The lowest placement is INR 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Facebook, Maruti, Tata, etc. Every year, approximately 40 percent of students get internships from my course. Placement is overall good at IIT BHU.
Infrastructure: The hostel is too old for IIT Bhu, as you know that it is the oldest college among all IITs. Classrooms are also poor. Although the library is good because it is newly constructed, Sports facilities are very good at IIT Bhu. Mess food is also good. There are several game facilities at my college. Fest is excellent in IIT Bhu, like spardha kashiyatra, aagman saturnalia, etc. In spardha other college students come in my college and there is a huge competition among them .
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful; they are well educated and qualified and they teach very well. This course is quite good and understandable. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exam is average, not too difficult. Every year, approximately 60 percent of students pass.
Other: I chose this course because placement is good in this branch. And it is a very difficult branch. Events are excellent at IIT BHU. Mess and food is also average.

One of the best IITs in India, but declining due to it's security concerns and infrastructure.
Placements: So, we had a decent placement in the previous-year batch. Approximately 80% placement is seen in the Chemical of IIT BHU, including all the domains. The average package is around 20 lacs. And the mean package remains about 18 lacs. This data is not good as compared to previous batches due to the recession.
Infrastructure: IIT BHU is more than 100 years old, so the conditions of the buildings are not good at all. Lecture theaters are newly built and, hence, in good condition. But the hostels and departments' conditions are not at all satisfactory. But the work is in progress to build new hostels and renovate department buildings.
Faculty: IIT BHU offers one of the most qualified and best faculty members in India. A Ph.D. is the minimum criteria for the professors. Most of the professors are Ph.D.s and research scholars. And talking about the curriculum of the chemical branch, it is easier as compared to branches like electrical and electronics.
Other: The college has a great alumni network, and the placements are very good. But the college lags in its infrastructure and security.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are given to us as an IIT college; it is so prestigious and all requirements get fulfilled here. Wi-Fi, labs, library, and classrooms are top class and have very good infrastructure. In hostels, we get a variety of food; sometimes it is not that much good, but overall, it is better as compared to other hostels. Sports and medical facilities are brilliant here.
Faculty: All the teachers and professors are very qualified, being IIT and IIM graduates. Their teaching is good and sufficient for our courses. The curriculum is relevant and helpful for our domain. Semester exams are of a decent level, not that much hard, but yes, to pass them, we need to study well.
