The total seat intake for all the M.Tech course is around 1037. Every year, more students typically apply to courses like Earth and Space Sciences, Avionics, and Aeroscope Engineering. Annual enrollment in other courses, such as M.Tech programmes in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, is often less than 100.

To find out the most recent details regarding the seat intake, go to the IIST website. Go to the "Admissions" section. Look for the pertinent M.Tech programme information; it's usually under "Postgraduate Programmes" or "M.Tech Admissions."Find the most recent M.Tech admissions brochure available for the year you want to apply

Well, it is pretty expensive. It will cost a good amount of your cranial potential to get through the entrance examination. Apart from that you need to invest a good amount of time preparing yourself for the written examination as well as the interview.

Once you clear both, it's all FREE. All the nominal security deposits are fully refundable. Hostel room charges are less than 100. There are mess fees if you want to opt for it. You'll get a stipend of 5,000 a month and a book grant of 5,000 per semester which can be used to buy books, printing and photocopying study materials etc.
