The prerequisites for the B.Tech and B.Arch programs are 60% and 50% of the marks obtained in the Science group in 10+2 respectively. The M.Tech programme is a two-year postgraduate program. To be admitted, students must take the GATE exam. The prerequisite for the MCA programme is graduation. The college administers the CET exam. Candidates for the MBA programme must have a 60% Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

Written below is the eligibility criteriafor B.Tech at IGDTUW (Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women)
Academic Qualification: Candidate should have passed class 12th examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% marks in Science stream. (Physics, mathematics and chemistry)
Entrance Exam: Candidate need to qualify in the Joint Admission Counseling (JAC) Delhi entrance exam.
However, there might be some relaxation in minimum marks for different categories of students (SC/ST/OBC).

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) include the following requirements:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks in any stream. A relaxation of 5% is provided to SC/ST/PwD/OBC-NCL/Defence category candidates
