Candidates are eligible to take admission to BCA without being from Mathematics backgrounds. Even those from Humanities and Medical background are eligible for BCA. But for MCA, Mathematics in Class 12 or UG-level is the minimum requirement.

MBA is a two-year full-time dual specialisation course divided into four semesters.They also offers part-time MBA course. UEM Kolkata offers MBA in eight specialisations and is ranked #44 by Times 2023. Yes, BCA is a three-year course offered at the UG level. The university also offers BCA (Hons) in two specialisations, namely Banking, Financial Services, Insurance and Gaming & Animation. Those students who wants to learn Computer languages and after that who wants to join Software Industry can apply for the BCA course. This course offers numerous job opportunities for bright students in software companies and also in MNC’s with high salaries and the growth of software engineer can outrun the growth in any other similar fields. The aspirants with a BCA/BSc Hons/BSc with Mathematics and Statistics subjects with 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for reserved category) can take admission to the MCA course in NITK. Moreover, the candidates must also hold the relevant documents at the time of form filling and admission as proof of eligibility.
