This course is provided by the university. After receiving a BCA or bachelor's degree in computer Science or a closely related field, one may join in the three-year curriculum. The MCA program at Osmania University is a two-year full-time program. The results of the TS ICET entrance exam determine a candidate's eligibility for MCA admission at OU. The entire cost ranges from INR 54,000 to INR 2.28 lakh, and the requirements are: Bachelor's degree with mathematics at the Class 12 or undergraduate level, passed.

Candidates must have passed a minimum of three-years bachelor's degree from a  University recognised by University Grants Commission or the Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate to apply for KJ Somaiya Institute of Management MCA programme. Candidates must also have Mathematics as one of the subjects at Class 12 or graduation level to apply. Candidates appearing for final-year examination can also apply.

No, admission is primarily based on merit and in accordance with CEG – RMCAAP regulations. However, having a scorecard from national-level entrance exams like NIMSAT/CUET or others can offer added advantages to MCA programme applicants at XIMI-Jaipur.

Admission to undergraduate courses in Vishwakarma Institute of Technology is grounded on the marks attained by campaigners in the MHT- CET/ JEE Main. The University has not released the separate placement data for BCA. As per the overall placement statistics, the median package offered to the 2022 passing out UG (3-year) batch was INR 2.40 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered to UG (3-year) students during 2021 CSJMU placements was INR 2.10 LPA. From 2020 to 2022, an improving trend was recorded in the median package for UG (3-year) courses, which is indicated in the table below:
