Institute of Engineering and Management Eligibility

To qualify for B.Tech admissions at the Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM), candidates must meet the following minimum eligibility criteria: They should have completed a three-year Diploma course in engineering with at least 50% marks overall, or possess a three-year B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

The eligibility criteria to get into the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme at the Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) typically include the following:
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 55% marks from the Science stream.
- The qualifying examination should include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects at the 10+2 level.
- For lateral entry into the B.Tech. program, candidates must have completed a three-year Diploma in engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

The  eligibility criteria for admission to BBA at IEM Kolkata is set by the institute. The candidate should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent with 60% aggregate and should be in possession of it for verification purposes.
