According to the information available on the official website of the institute, the application form for admission should reach the principal of the Institute accompanied by -the form is available at the institute and on the institute website.

After completing the application form and filling out the application, candidates are required to attach some of the important documents. Moreover, these documents might also be required at the time of admission confirmation. The list of documents to be submitted during the application process is given below:

  • Class 12 Mark sheet 
  • A School Leaving or Birth Certificate
  • A Certificate of Medical Fitness from a registered Medical Practitioner in the enclosed form. 
  • A Character Certificate from the school or college.
  • In the case of candidates belonging to the SC/ST caste certificate issued by the competent authority.

Currently, candidates can register for the UG Diploma courses at IHM Goa through the official website of the institute and further complete the application process afterwards. Usually, applications are invited by individual affiliated institutes of hotel management through advertisements in leading local newspapers released during the month of June each year and selection made through a transparent selection process.

Yes, IHM Goa does offer UG Diploma courses for 18 months. Moreover, these courses are offered in full-time mode. The eligibility criteria to get admission into UG Diploma courses is candidates must complete their Class 12 with English as one of the subject. Additionally, candidates must ensure that they have secured good scores in their higher senior secondary because the institute offers merit-based admissions, which are evaluated based on candidates' Class 12 scores.

To secure a seat for the BSc programme at IHM Hyderabad, candidates must qualify for the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam. In order to be eligible for the exam, candidates must have passed their Class 12 with decent scores. Selection of the candidates is based on the NCHMCT JEE score, which determines their eligibility to secure a seat at IHM Goa for the BSc programme. Therefore, there is no provision of direct admissions to BSc courses at IHM Hyderabad.

IHM Goa and IHM Chennai both accept the scores of NCHMT JEE for admissions to BSc courses. Hence, the admission process is almost identical for both institutions, as the first requirement is candidates must complete their Class 12 with decent scores, then they must appear for NCHMT JEE, followed by counselling. Therefore, it is hard to determine which institute it is easier to get admission into BSc courses.

IHM Goa 2025 has not been released yet. However, if candidates compare the cutoff for the years 2023 and 2024, they will find out that the closing rank for the BSc courses has been decreased and the competition has increased.
