The eligibility criteria for B.A. LL.B includes:
- Minimum 45% in 10+2
- CLAT
Institute of Law, Nirma University offers B.A. LL.B in two categories, regular and self financed. Admission to both of these courses is made on the basis of CLAT rankings. However, the eligibility criteria states that the candidate must have passed their 10+2 from a recognised institute with a minimum aggregate marks of 45%. It also states that candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in May 2023 are also eligible for applying to the Institute. Yes, you can get into Institute of Law, Nirma University with 70% in class 12th. However, Institute of Law, Nirma University only accepts the CLAT exam score for admission to B.A. LL.B and B.Com LL.B. The admission process is then followed by multiple rounds of CLAT counselling for allocation of seats. Other than CLAT ranking, the eligibility criteria for all courses except PG Diploma at ILNU is to have passed 10+2 with a minimum percentage of 45%. So, yes, you can get into ILNU with 70% in class 12th but it only satisfies the eligibility criteria as CLAT is the primary base for admission.

The Institute of Law's Nirma University placement report from 2022 previously said that the average package offered during Nirma University Law placements was INR 5.58 LPA, while the highest package offered was INR 16 LPA. Nirma University's Institute of Law in 2022 had a placement rate of 80%. around 50 businesses paid the Institute of Law, Nirma University a visit during placements in 2022 which included top tier companies like Delloite, Digit, and Adani Renewables. The placement report for 2023 has not been released yet by Nirma University.
