Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) is affiliated with Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. It offers an MBBS programme with the capacity of 150 students. The eligibility to get admission is that the students should have passed class 12 from any recognised Indian board, and selection is on the basis of NEET exams. The college offers one-year internships where students are allowed to treat patients. It also facilitates PHC visits in villages, which provide practical experience in handling different cases. During this period, students receive a monthly stipend of INR 15,000. The faculty is well experienced and infrastructure is at par top colleges. Subbaiah Institute of Medical Sciences also offers an MBBS programme on a NEET basis. The institute has experienced faculty members to train every individual, and because of that, each hospital in the city has at least two to three doctors who graduated from this college. The college has well-equipped labs and a diagnostic center with a lift facility. The faculty members pay one-to-one attention which makes it easier for student to learn things faster, and their way of teaching is unmatched.
