Institute of Technology Eligibility

At Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT), Coimbatore, admission to the B.E./B.Tech programs is based on the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process. Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with a minimum aggregate of 45% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry for the General category, and 40% for BC, MBC, DNC, and SC/ST categories. The selection is merit-based, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Admission is facilitated through TNEA counseling, and direct admission without this process is not available.

The selection criteria for the B.E./B.Tech course at ITM Aligarh require candidates to have a minimum of 50% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission is based on JEE Main or UPCET scores, followed by UPTAC counseling. Direct admission is available through the management quota for non-qualifying candidates.

The selection criteria at South Point Institute of Technology & Management for B.E. / B.Tech course is:-

mainly based on merit, with a focus on the scores of the qualifying examination (like 10+2) and entrance exams like JEE Main.
Specific requirements include a minimum percentage in the qualifying exam, typically around 45-60%.

To be considered for the B.E. / B.Tech course at Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology (CIT), applicants should have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. They should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in these subjects (40% for reserved candidates). Applicants should also possess a valid rank in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or the COMEDK UGET entrance test. Besides, the students who hold a Diploma in Engineering with not less than 45% marks are also allowed to enter into the second year of the B.E. / B.Tech course through lateral entry.

Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognised Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Candidates must have passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022. There is no age limit for the candidates.
