Selection criteria is based on the rank secured in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test), followed by counseling.

Eligibilty criteria must be followed that is Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

The Eligibility criteria for B.E/B.Tech at Sumathi Reddy Institute of Technology for Women is

For Inter students

  • Have to qualify in 10+2 exam and also TS EAMCET with minimum 40%-45%
  • Seats were 70% Merits+30% Management 

For Lateral entries

  •  Have to complete Diploma successfully with 40%-45% and also E-cet

A minimum aggregate of 45% marks is usually required (40% for reserved categories). Admission may be based on 12th marks and/or entrance exams like TNEA.

To be eligible for a B.E./B.Tech at S.G.Balekundri Institute Of Technology (SGBIT), candidates generally need to have passed their 2nd PUC/12th standard or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Electronics as an optional subject. For B.E / B.Tech admission at Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology KKIT, you need to have passed class twelve with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

General category students need at least 45 percent marks in these subjects combined.

Reserved category students need to have around 40 to forty 45 percent marks.

Admission is done through TNEA counselling based on your class 12th marks.

Direct / lateral entry into second year is possible for Diploma holders based on their Diploma percentage.
